In Burkina Faso, one of the world’s most impoverished nations, access to clean water remains a daily struggle. More than 63% of people lack access to safe drinking water, and 88% live without basic sanitation services. Ongoing conflict and displacement, combined with climate-related droughts, are placing additional pressure on already fragile water systems. Burkina Faso urgently needs sustainable, community-led solutions to restore and build resilience.
