Our Work:
Creating Sustainable Change through Water Infrastructure & Education
Community-Driven Sustainable Water Projects
By combining technical skills with grassroots ownership, we ensure that each water project serves as a sustainable resource and not just a temporary fix. Whether we are restoring or building water system infrastructure, each project begins with the community and their needs.
Local Engagement First
Our team of expert engineers and hydrologists works with each community to:
• Assess the site’s geography and environmental factors
• Calculate local water needs
• Secure long-term commitment to maintaining the system
The project moves forward once the community is fully engaged and invested in the sustainability of the project.
High-Standard Infrastructure
Once the groundwork is laid, we deploy our GBF-branded drilling rigs and local team to construct boreholes that:
• Meet or exceed national government quality standards (National Office of Water (ONEA))
• Are engineered and equipped for durability and performance
• Ensure safe, sufficient and reliable access to clean water
WOMEN’S ENGINEERING PROGRAM

Building skills to unleash women’s economic power through clean water. The Women’s Engineering Program is a hands-on, certificate training initiative created for community women, with limited formal education. Participants build their agency and gain technical and leadership skills. This program gives women the skills and confidence to build their own futures and to ensure clean water in their communities.

EDUCATION & YOUTH INSPIRATION PROGRAM
Inspiring young changemakers through story and service.
At the heart of our youth program is The Water Princess. Inspired by Georgie’s childhood, author Susan Verde and author/illustrator Peter H. Reynolds have come together to tell this story of resilience and hope. Through this book, we spark conversations about global water challenges and the power of individual action.
Designed for students up to 5th grade, our school-based initiative uses storytelling to engage discussions about empathy, problem-solving, and overcoming obstacles. These activities help children understand the importance of water as a human right, while cultivating a sense of global citizenship.

Together, we’re scaling our mission one engaged community, one sustainable well, one trained woman at a time.
We're deeply grateful for the generous community of supporters who walk alongside us and who believe in clean water as a human right and sustainable change as a collective effort.
